Amy was born and raised in Dillon, Montana. She earned a
bachelor’s degree with high honors in Government from the
University of Notre Dame in 1992, and received her Juris
Doctor degree from the University of Colorado in 1997. She
accepted a clerkship with the First Judicial District Court
after law school, and clerked for the Honorable Jeffrey
Sherlock from August 1997 to August 1998.
Amy was admitted to practice in the State of Montana in
1997, and the U.S. District Court of Montana in 1998. She
has been in private practice with Hughes, Kellner, Sullivan,
& Alke since 1998, and her practice areas include employment
law, civil litigation, health care, and design professional
defense.
Amy currently serves on the Board of Public Assistance. Her
hobbies and interests include hiking, reading, and hanging
out with her four daughters.
